Our Story
Our story began in the mid-1970s when Fred Albury moved from Nassau to Miami and started his first export company on the Miami River. Throughout the late 1970s and early 1980s, he exported quality building materials and supplies to customers throughout the Caribbean. As a child, I spent countless hours watching the ships along the Miami River, fascinated by the movement of cargo and the world of international trade. Those early experiences inspired a lifelong passion for the export business.
In 1989, I began my career with The Home Depot, where I gained valuable experience in the building materials industry. Toward the end of my tenure, I played an active role in the development of the company's Export Department. In 1998, I left Home Depot to establish Albury and Son Export Co., combining the knowledge and values passed down from my father with my own experience in the industry.
For nearly three decades, we have built our reputation on providing high-quality building materials, exceptional customer service, and honest, dependable business practices. With 28 years in business, we remain committed to serving our customers throughout the Caribbean with the same integrity, reliability, and personal attention that have defined our company from the very beginning.
